Video: Chaehyun Seo climbs La Rambla (9a +) in Siurana as the second woman

On November 22, 2022, the South Korean Chaehyun Seo was only the second woman to inspect the Spanish test piece La Rambla (9a +). Now the video of their inspection is online.

Chaehyun Seo climbing was practically born in the cradle. Her parents run a climbing hall in Seoul, at the age of only 14 she was already climbing 9a and in the international competition circuit the now 19-year-old is one of the best athletes in the world.

In November 2022, the young athlete moved to Spain, where she quickly tackled the famous Siurana route La Rambla (9a+) pre-buttoned. With success. On November 22, she got the title "Second Female Ascent". A few days later she attracted attention again. She was only the second woman to climb an 8c route onsight. She succeeded with the route L'Antagonista in the Spanish climbing area Montsant.
