Two months ago, Sean Bailey made the first ascent of the Highball Devilution (8C+). A little later, Shawn Raboutou was the first to repeat the 17-meter line. Now there is the video of the inspection.
The Grandpa Peabody Boulder is one of the most famous blocks in the Buttermilks. At 17 meters high, it is a huge figure. In 2002, Jason Kehl created a highball milestone with the first ascent of Evilution (8A+). More than 20 years later, Sean Bailey has with Deviation (8C+) went one better.
The American professional boulderer Shawn Raboutou was the first to succeed in repeating Bailey's powerful line. The video of his climb is not only an eye-catcher from an aesthetic point of view, but also extremely impressive in terms of climbing technology.
