Alex Megos returns home from Norway climbing trip with a huge ticklist

Alex Megos is back from Norway. What the German professional climber pulled during his trip in the far north is very impressive: Among other things, he climbed three 8B + and five 8B boulders (including a first ascent), flashed three 8B problems and topped a good handful of other boulders in the eighth French degree .

The World Cup bronze medal seemed Alex Megos not only to be in good shape, but also to have fueled his cravings for real rock. The exquisite gneiss and granite boulders in the Norwegian bouldering area Vingsand satisfied his appetite.

There he let the 8B+ Boulder Shantaram, Wolverine and Når Hyenene Våkner melt in his mouth and flashed - almost for dessert - Ormen Lange (8B), Verden på Lørdag (8B), Hulefesten (8B) and Torstein Problem (8A).

And although the 30-year-old has committed himself to the principle of leave no trace on his travels, he still left something behind in Norway: the first ascents of The Bavarian (8B) and Frozen (8A+)

After Vingsand, Megos and company also made a short stop in the Hell climbing area, where the German with exes Hello (9a), Adam Ondra's test piece from 2017 scored and Boulder Mini (8B), Body Says Yes (8A+) and Hells Angels (8A+) climbed.
