This is how Daniel Woods flashes 8B+ Boulder | Video

A little audiovisual flashback to start the year: Daniel Woods in Valais. In 2022, the American climbing professional spent a month traveling through western Switzerland and climbed many a classic, including Foundation's Edge (8C), Scarred for Life (8B+) and Compass North (8B+, Flash).

The American top climber Daniel Woods spent a month bouldering in fall 2022 Fionnay in Valais. Mellow recently released a new film showing the highlights of this trip. The latest Mellow work lives not only from the tough ascents of Daniel Woods, but also from the style of the edit. René Grincourt has turned the screw to old school and processed many fisheye perspectives and grainy shots.

At this point it should be noted that Daniel Woods' Fionnay ticklist is quite impressive: With Compass North (8B +) he has realized one of the world's most difficult flash ascents. And also Dave Graham's Foundation's Edge (8C) as well Scarred for Life (8B+) are real touchstones.
