Climbing backpack and duffel bag combined: Deuter Gravity Motion

With the Gravity Motion, Deuter has developed a cool climbing backpack that, as a hybrid of duffel bag and backpack, combines the best of two worlds: sport climbers and boulderers find enough space for all their equipment and have quick access to it thanks to the large zipper opening.

Rope, climbing harness, climbing shoes, magnesium, climbing guide, food and drink – you can quickly add up to a lot of material for a day on the rock. This should not only be able to be easily transported in the climbing backpack during the ascent and descent, but should also be accessible quickly and easily. This claim is Deuter with the GravityMotion in an elegant way.

Gravity line: Functional and simple

The technical Gravity series represents Deuter's traditional alpine expertise. For years, the backpack pioneer has been working closely with extreme mountaineers like... Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, Fabian Buhl or Melissa le Nevé zusammen.

Together we create detailed products for alpine use that make a name for themselves in the climbing scene. The five models in the Gravity line, from the lightweight multi-pitch backpack to the robust haul bag, are united by their focus on functionality and clear design.

The Gravity Motion is a successful combination of a clear duffel bag and a functional backpack and now offers even more space thanks to the 5 liter increased volume.

Gravity Motion is no exception. The climbing backpack in a stylish retro look is very reduced. You won't find any unnecessary bells and whistles. The main feature is the large zipper opening that runs the entire length of the back. This means you have access to all the content in a matter of seconds and are guaranteed to have everything in view.

Gravity Motion: Less is more

Two generous side pockets offer the opportunity to separate the smelly climbing finches from the rest of the backpack. There is also another compartment for valuables such as smartphones or car keys. But that's it with the subjects. But who needs more?

With its 40 liter volume, the Gravity Motion can swallow quite a lot of climbing material. Should things get tight, for example if you bring your entire crack rack with you to the rock, the climbing backpack offers attachment options on the outside. Climbing rope or jacket can be attached to the backpack in no time at all thanks to straps and metal hooks.
