The climbing shoe for hooking: Black Diamond Method S

The Method S was designed for demanding sport climbing outdoors on rock. However, the new, hooking-tested climbing shoe from Black Diamond is capable of much more. This model also offers outstanding performance when bouldering indoors.

A contribution by Transa Backpacking AG

Black Diamond's new Method S will get you up steep climbing routes if you do your part. Thanks to the firm tongue made of technical knit, you can slip into the climbing finch without any effort. This also ensures a good fit, as the soft upper material nestles comfortably around your foot. This means there are no cavities in the climbing shoe.

The comfortable fit and skin-friendly material ensure even more comfort and breathability. The shoe is equipped with a Velcro strap; This means that the climbing shoe can be adjusted quickly and easily and stays in place even when you are going vertical.

Good seat, lots of grip

The relatively soft sole of this climbing shoe is made of 100% “Black Label Fuse” rubber and ensures a lot of feel and optimal edge control on the rock when climbing. The rubber compound enables precise stepping on small steps and offers plenty of grip on friction climbs.

The last has a slight pre-tension and transfers the force to the right places in the climbing shoe. This makes him particularly impressive when climbing when it comes to his precision when stepping.

Precise toehooks

A large piece of rubber has been integrated into the climbing shoe on the top of the toe box, which significantly improves the quality of the toehooks. Thanks to its slim heel, the Method S also cuts a fine figure with heelhooks.

An all-round climbing shoe for the rock or the hall

At Transa you get the Method S as a men's climbing shoe (high volume) in a multicolored white-black-red design. For women (low volume) the model is available in white-black-purple. With this climbing shoe you feel comfortable outside on the rock, but also indoors.

If you're looking for something soft and sensitive for high-level bouldering, alpine climbing or sport climbing, put this model from Black Diamond at the top of your list.
