Jorg Verhoeven and Katharina Saurwein climb the Devils Tower

The climbing couple Jorg Verhoeven and Katharina Saurwein took some pretty routes for their trip to the USA. In July reported we already from her ascent on the Dihedral Wall in Yosemite Valley. Now the two have published the video of their ascent of the unique Devils Tower on the northwestern edge of the Bear Lodge Mountains in the state of Wyoming.

For once the two professional climbers did not focus on the level of difficulty, but simply the pure beauty of the route. They climbed the classic line El Matador (6b +). If you do not know the impressive volcanic massif in Wyoming, then you have to watch the video. Everyone else too.
