The international bouldering meeting Melloblocco has been around since 2004. Since then, the legendary bouldering competition has been attracting climbing fans from all over the world to Italy Val di Mello. Anyone can take part, whether young or old, World Cup athlete or amateur.

The Melloblocco is a coming together and not a competition. It takes place on the many granite boulders scattered throughout the magnificent natural landscape of Val di Mello and Val Masino.

Bouldering together & taking care of nature

At Melloblocco from May 8th to 11th, 2024, participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of bouldering together with professionals and solve problems together. It is very important to the organizers to use this event to raise awareness of how to treat nature with care

Melloblocco pays attention to how we move in nature. We all have an influence on this, because the spaces for adventure and climbing are not infinite and must be preserved.

Melloblocco

For this reason, it was decided not to add any new areas to the existing huge bouldering park at Melloblocco 2024, and instead to give some of the numerous boulders that line the valley a break.
