The young American Katie Lamb once again manages to climb a difficult boulder: Direct North in Bishop
While her countrywoman Brooke Raboutou walks difficult lines on granite boulders in Switzerland Katie Lamb the imposing rock formations in Bishop.

Katie Lamb is currently one of the strongest boulderers in the world, but tends to go under the radar of international reporting. In the past two years she climbed a total of seven 8b boulders and in 2021 even two 8b + lines.
She made the leap into the 8b+ league in July 2021 Jade in Rocky Mountain National Park, followed by New Base Line in swiss Magic Wood in September. Katie Lamb rings in the new year with her visit of Direct North (8b+) promising at Bishop.
