The Organizing Committee of the 2024 Olympics in Paris has submitted a proposal to the International Olympic Committee to abolish the combination rating. Swiss Climbing has defined the Olympic pool Tokyo 2018 after the evaluation of the World Cup results and the World Cup season 2020. Petra Klingler, Anne-Sophie Koller, Sascha Lehmann, Dimitri Vogt and Baptiste Ometz are being specifically promoted and prepared for possible participation in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The pool started at the end of 2017 with nine athletes and has been reduced to five during the past year.
