After more than 30 years, Daniel Benz and Marcel Dettling have now completed what Andreas Audétat began in 1991: the "Saguaro" route on the Gamstobelwand in the Rätikon, a ten-pitch tour with difficulties ranging from 6a+ to 8a. 

Italian climbers Pietro Vidi and Alessandro Larcher free-climbed the route Joy Division (800 m, 8b) on the Qualido Wall in Val di Mello on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The 20-pitch route is considered one of the most challenging multi-pitch routes in Italy.
