The Scot Will Bosi is on a climbing trip in the Zillertal, Austria, and is already busy scoring routes. Among other things, Reverberation (8c/+) and Land of Hammers (8b/+).
For a long time, Will Bosi was all about the boulder Burden of Dreams (9A), which he was able to repeat as the first person. We were provided with live streams, pictures and information almost every day until he managed to inspect it on April 14, 2023.
His fitness on short lines exhibited bosi proved again just two weeks later when he made the first ascent of the 8C boulder Wild South im Peak District succeeded, followed by Isles of Wonder Sit (8C) in the Ogwen Valley.

After further hard bouldering in June, including Ultra Instinct (8C), Big Chief (8B), World at War (8B+) and Godzilla Sit (8A+, Flash), the time had come at the beginning of July. Will Bosi fetched the rope from the basement and drove to the Austrian Zillertal.
«My break seems to have been short and I already put my climbing harness back on.🔥»

Bosi was first in two other sectors before he got started in the Bachhexe sector. So after scoring Reverberance, he entered the sector's classic, Land of the Hammers (8b/+). And then? Then he went through the tour without batting an eyelid, onsight!
"It's the first difficult onsight ascent in six years!"

However, another route was denied to the strong Scot: Dolby Surround (8c +). If you're wondering how it can be that Will Bosi climbs 8b/+ onsight during his one-week trip to the Zillertal, but doesn't manage an 8c+ red point, here's the explanation.
«After breaking the grip, the route feels more like 9a+. I hope to return soon."
