Before no end 14 years Robert Leistner opened the route expulsion of the last idealists at Nonnengärtner in the Saxon Switzerland. Now he gets the first redpoint ascent.

The route Expulsion of the last idealists is with 8c / 12a one of the heaviest routes of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in the Saxon Switzerland. Until it came to the red point walk, invested the local hero Robert Leistner a lot of time, training and mental endurance in the project that he first started before 14 years ago (video below). His dedication to the route was well worth it. A few days ago, Robert fulfilled his biggest dream, the celebration of one of the hardest routes Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

“I waited 14 years for this perfect moment. The biggest dream of my climbing career has come true. After 25 minutes of the most brilliant climbing and the most intense feelings, I was standing on my favorite Elbe sandstone tower. "
