Olympia: All athletes confirmed

A few days ago the International Climbing Association (IFSC) announced the last two Olympic candidates. Koreans Jongwon Chon and Chaehyun Seo complete the list of athletes who will compete in the disciplines of lead, bouldering and speed at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

The corona pandemic messed up so many things. Probably the largest sporting event in the world, the Summer Olympics, had to be postponed by one year to summer 2021. Numerous competitions that should have served to qualify the athletes have been canceled or postponed.

Some Olympic places were awarded based on the results of previous competitions. Not a very happy solution. Anouck Jaubert, Michael Piccolruaz and now have benefited from these subsequently distributed Olympic tickets Jongwon Chon and Chaehyun Seo. With the subsequent award of the last two Olympic tickets a few days ago, the list of athletes is now complete.

Should the Summer Olympics take place in the summer of 2021, which is not yet set in stone (LACRUX reported), the following athletes will compete.
