Next Level: Tanner Wanish and Michael Vaill climb four Yosemite Big Walls in 21h 50min

Tanner Wanish and Michael Vaill recently caused a stir with their speed record at the Yosemite Triple Crown. Now the duo have gone one better and completed four big walls in an incredible 21 hours and 50 minutes.

The two American climbers Tanner Wanish and Michael Vaill make shortly after their Triple Crown record with another and even more impressive ascent: In the Californian climbing mecca of Yosemite, they managed to climb four big walls in well under 24 hours.

The duo climbed the south face of Mount Watkins, the Nose of El Capitan, the south face of Washington Column and the regular northwest face of Half Dome in an incredible time of 21 hours and 50 minutes.

For the Yosemite Triple Crown alone, 77 rope lengths, 2448 meters of climbing and 30 kilometers of running distance must be conquered. The south face of the Washington Column, located at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley, adds another 11 rope lengths. The distance to be covered between the walls also increases again.
