Film festival season opens | Mountains on Stage Winter Edition 2024

The mountain film festival Mountains on Stage is back with a brand new program and a tour in 250 cities worldwide. The German-language tour starts on November 21st in Munich.

Mountains on stage is a film festival that aims to bring the mountains to the city, with a selection of the world's best films related to mountain sports such as skiing, mountaineering, climbing or paragliding. In the winter edition of 2024, four exciting films await you.

Always Alive – Fastest Known Time on Mont Blanc

Hillary Gerardi, known for her numerous achievements in trail running, is taking on a challenge at high altitude: she wants to set a new record on Mont Blanc From the church in Chamonix to the summit and back. To achieve her goal, she must combine intensive preparation with an advanced knowledge of the terrain, which is constantly changing due to climate change. A film that succeeds in combining the environment and performance to recharge your batteries with joy and emotion!
