Of all the well-known climbing names out there, you often only see pictures and videos of successful climbs. To Chris Sharma's test piece Neanderthal (9b) in Santa Linya, some strong climbers have already lost their teeth.
The last candidate, who otherwise stands for fast success, is Adam Ondra. The necessary fitness he should have together, one might think, if one looks at the previous balance of his Spain vacation (LACRUX reported). Incidentally, the on-linked articles were followed on the ninth degree by Ondra.
Adam Ondra makes an 20 meter finish
In the Route Neanderthal (9b), which Chris Sharma has just started, Ondra can not make a red dot. Despite several attempts he does not succeed in repeating the route. But there was a nice finish at the last attempt. See for yourself.
Magnus Midtbø's flights
The Norwegian climber Magnus Mitbø tried the route a few years ago - without success. Chris Sharma has apparently climbed a pretty tough chunk. The following video shows the Norwegian in Neanderthal.
