Alexander Megos climbs the route speed in 15 minutes

After the German top athlete Alexander Megos successfully competed in Tyrol, Céüse and South Africa before the competitions (LACRUX reported), he has now started his Swiss journey. Already at the first stop he makes to hear of himself, in which he the 8c + route Speed at the Voralpsee in only 15 minutes climbs. Literally Speed.

The sport climbing area Voralpsee gained notoriety in the 90-years, as Beat Kammerlander routes like Speed (8c +) and Missing Link (9a) first begun. Today the area receives regular visits from foreign professional climbers. Rightly. The ambience and the routes even make Adam Ondra say "Best route ever".

Alex in speed mode

Alexander Megos has set himself the first stop of his trip to Switzerland the Hardmover area Voralpsee in eastern Switzerland. His goal was the 90c + route, which was first launched by Beat Kammerlander in the 8 years Speed, Alex took the name of the route so seriously that he climbed the route in no time. He only needed 15 minutes and received by the legend Beat Kammerlander officially the predicate of the fastest ascent. Next Alex drives to the Basel Jura. We are curious which routes he undertakes there.
