Alex Megos flashes 9a route Mr. Big in Margalef

The German professional climber Alexander Megos is in the mood to climb. Just one day after his 9b/+ ascent of Tuareg Blanco, he succeeds in the 9a flash ascent of Mr. Big.

The main project of his trip to Spain was the first redpoint ascent of an old project in MargalefAfter numerous sessions, which he specifically focused on the route Tuareg Blanco At the beginning of the year, the German managed to complete the climb and thus became the first free ascent of the route, which is rated 9b/+.

Encouraged by this success, the next day Megos set his sights on a route he had been considering for some time. Mr. Big (9a).

After seeing several people on the route, I felt ready for a solid flash attempt from Mr. Big.

Mego's feeling was confirmed. He cruised up the wall in a solid manner and once again got a flash ascent a 9a sport climbing route.

The route definitely suits my style and I'm in pretty good shape.

Megos finds it difficult to confirm the grade, as he writes that the route suits him and he is currently pretty fit. He says that others should judge the grade of the route and that he simply had fun.
