“There are moments of doubt” – Alexander Huber on free solo climbing

Climbing legend Alexander Huber wanted to give it another try and last year climbed the famous Aguglia Goloritze rock formation on the coast of Sardinia without a rope. Servus TV accompanied the climbing pro on his adventures on the Mediterranean island.

As part of filming for the TV format Bergwelten Alexander Huber In October 2023, he climbed Aguglia Goloritze on the Sardinian Gulf of Orosei without a rope. He chose the 6b+ Easy Gymnopedie line by Enzo Lecis from 2003.

The climb is not necessarily a sporting highlight, but from an aesthetic point of view the Goloritze is simply unique.
