Rusty hook in Sardinia
A Sardinian climber published a video from a route near Masua a few days ago, in which you can see how a hook broke off with a slight jolt. The affected glued hook is apparently only a few years old. The cause of the damage is so-called "stress corrosion cracking". You can find more about this in the following UIAA report.
