The largest ice climbing festival in Europe takes place in the East Tyrol Ice Park

From January 10th to 12th, the East Tyrol Ice Climbing Festival will take place for the eighth time in the Matreier Tauerntal. Ice enthusiasts can look forward to lectures by famous personalities, numerous workshops, an extensive test center and the 8th East Tyrol Ice Masters with the subsequent ice party.

Every year on the second weekend of January, the Friends of the East Tyrol Ice Park Association organizes the East Tyrol Ice Climbing FestivalThe East Tyrol Ice Climbing Festival is now the largest ice climbing festival in Europe and will take place for the eighth time from January 10th to 12th, 2025. At the same time, the East Tyrol Ice Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
