On Saturday, July 6, 2024, the first SAC Para Climbing Cup of the season will take place at Griffig in Uster. The finals can be followed via live stream.
After the two World Cups in Salt Lake City in May and Innsbruck last week, the SAC Para Climbing Cup is the third competition for the Swiss para climbers this year. The athletes are highly motivated and want to reach great heights.
The chances are good because, as we know from the Para scene, it will be a competition in a relaxed and family atmosphere, with everyone cheering each other on.

Master competition with international starting field
Among those taking part are model athlete Dominic Geisseler, who won both of this year's World Cups with a top performance, and also Laila Grillo and Roland Paillex, who both won bronze in Innsbruck. Since this competition is a master's level, athletes from abroad are also allowed to take part. We are excited to see how international it will be.
Finals in live stream
The Griffig climbing hall has special competition routes that are tried out by a variety of para categories. If you want to find out what B2 or AU3 is all about, for example, you should tune in to the live stream at 15:45 p.m.
It is the first live stream in Switzerland to show a Para competition. The final will run until 18 p.m. with commentary from David Firnenburg. Entry is free for anyone who wants to watch the competition live on site.
