Meiringen and Villars 2020 deleted without replacement

The IFSC and SAC have decided to cancel the World Cup competitions in Meiringen and Villars that have been postponed until the autumn.

Now it is definitely - the Haslital Mountain Festival will only take place again in April 2021. The Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) and the International Sport Climbing Association (IFSC) have canceled all climbing World Cups in Switzerland for 2020.

"Given the situation, it's the only right decision."

Christian Willi from the OK Haslital Mountain Festival

From now on, the organizers will concentrate on the preparatory work for next year's edition. This is expected to take place from April 15-18, 2021. Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid for 2021. Refunds are also possible, more information on www.mountainfestival.ch.
