The world's first global bouldering league | »TITAN World League«

For the first time in the history of the sport, amateur boulderers worldwide can compete against each other in real time. The new "TITAN World League" combines standardized walls and bouldering problems with a digital ranking system.

One league for everyone

Bouldering is booming – and with it, the number of formats in which boulderers can compete against each other. For the best in the world, this year kicks off with the »Pro Climbing League"For the first time, a recurring duel format. The "TITAN World League," in turn, aims to transform indoor bouldering into a global community challenge. The idea behind it: identical bouldering problems on standardized walls, the same for all participants."

One wall, one community, one global challenge.

Creed of the »TITAN World League«

This is what's behind the format

The "TITAN World League" is organized by the French hold manufacturer EP Climbing, in collaboration with the digital specialists Circle Climbing and Griptonite. Other well-known hold brands such as Cheeta, 360 Holds, and Flathold support the event.

The event is based on the TITAN bouldering wall, which the organizer EP Climbing developed together with experienced route setters. The standardized wall with 114 square meters of climbing surface has been in use since 2023. World Climbing (formerly IFSC) certified. It has since been regularly used in international competitions – including the Olympic Games in Paris. The TITAN Wall is thus the first globally valid standard for wall construction in competitive bouldering.

»TITAN World League« aims to grow globally

The "TITAN World League" aims to allow the international bouldering scene beyond the professional level to benefit from this new standard. The organizers envision an event that "functions as a shared climbing experience, connecting climbing gyms, route setters, and climbers through the same movements as a common language."

This is not a traditional competition, but a shared climbing experience.

The basic concept: 14 identical bouldering problems at various TITAN Walls worldwide, where amateur boulderers can test their skills and compare their results in a global, real-time ranking. So far, six climbing gyms worldwide are participating in the "TITAN World League"—from France, Belgium, Malta, Spain, and Thailand. "We expect more gyms to join as the format spreads globally," says organizer EP Climbing.

A basic requirement for participating climbing gyms is the installation of a TITAN Wall. This standardized wall is currently installed in approximately 30 climbing gyms worldwide, particularly in the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and China. The kick-off of the "TITAN World League" will take place on January 15, 2026, at the "Goat Rocks" climbing gym in Nancy, France.
