Slovenia and Japan dominate at the Boulder World Cup in Moscow

At the second World Cup of the season the podium in the bouldering discipline was occupied by two countries: Slovenia and Japan. Won Janja Garnbret with the women and Tomoa Narasaki with the men. Petra Klingler narrowly missed the podium and finished fourth. The German and Austrian athletes did not make it to the final.

The women's final was quite a thrill for Petra Klingler. She topped the first three boulders sovereign and was thus on the podium. Unfortunately, she did not reach the final grip on the fourth boulder and was ousted by the Japanese Akiyo Noguchi from the podium.

Jessica Pilz and Lilli Kiesgen get the best seats for Austria and Germany

Lilli Kiesgen took the 16. Ranking in the semi-final the best placement for the Germans. For the men, it was Yannick Flohe who did it with the 18. Rank in the top 20 managed. The Austrians were no longer represented in the final. Jessica Pilz and Jakob Schubert had to settle for places 14 and 25, but with these ranks got the best results of their national team.
