At the beginning of the year, Italian bouldering specialist Niky Ceria searched for, found and made the first ascents of a whole series of new kinglines in Sardinia. The process behind his exploratory approach is shown in Flathold's latest short film.
"At the beginning there is always just a blank sheet of paper. An untouched landscape, with many paths and possibilities to discover. Nothing is guaranteed. But you know that you are in the right place to find something special." Niky Ceria
On the way to new boulder lines, the Italian bouldering specialist goes through a process that is neither very common nor easy to understand. Flathold's latest short film captured Niky Ceria's exploratory spirit during his trip to Sardinia quite well. See for yourself.
