Murgtal bouldering area: the municipality introduces parking fees everywhere

Before the ascent, the local community Murgtal introduces parking fees in the bouldering and leisure area Murgtal.

As communicated by the municipality, the parking meter previously stationed at Alp Plätz will soon be moved to the Steinbrächer forest house. The parking fee of CHF 10.00 applies from the parking meter at the forester's house.

The gravel area in front of the forester's house is now managed at a flat rate of CHF 5.00 per day. A parking meter will also be installed a little further down (near the pond), where the same tariff of 5.00 CHF applies.

The Murg local administrative council decided to make these adjustments in 2021. The point is that parking fees are consistently collected from the village to the Murg Valley. Every person who visits the Murgtal should make a contribution to the road maintenance and the maintenance of the parking lots.

Introduction shortly before the driveway

The installation or relocation of the parking meters is planned shortly before the driveway. Anyone who regularly drives to the bouldering area can obtain a long-term parking permit, which is valid for one year. The Murgtal vignette costs CHF 80.00, but is only valid from the forester's house. The new chargeable spaces at the forester's house and further down to the village cost separately CHF 5.00 per day.
