The Trango Alpine is compatible with most crampon systems (thanks to the heel ridge) – except for the Automatic/Cramp-O-Matic models.

The most well-known technology is the proven GORE-TEX membrane, which makes the shoes waterproof, so you can always roam the mountains with dry feet. The membrane remains completely breathable, ensuring a pleasant internal climate, as sweat can quickly evaporate.
In addition, the developers at La Sportiva have also incorporated a new patent into the Trango Alpine GTX: the 3D Flex System Evo technology. This stabilizes your ankle on all types of terrain, including when climbing, to prevent dangerous twisting. At the same time, freedom of movement is not compromised. Win-win!
The sole is made of a Vibram Cube Evo, which impresses with its outstanding off-road properties, and in the rear area with a TPU insert vThe reinforced sole simplifies the attachment of crampons.
